The Whistler Double Oaked is a small batch Irish whiskey from the Boann Distillery in County Meath. It is triple distilled and bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle.
It is matured in two different oak casks, a double oak maturation that adds depth and warmth.
The nose offers vanilla, honey, toasted oak and light spice. Caramel and baked apple lead the palate, with warm oak and a gentle sweetness. The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering vanilla and soft spice.
