Boann Marsala Cask is a triple distilled single pot still Irish whiskey made at Boann Distillery in County Meath. It is matured in quality casks and then finished in select Marsala wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and released in limited quantities.
The nose shows dried apricot, honey, toasted oak and gentle spice. On the palate come raisin, caramel and baking spice, with a creamy mouthfeel and a wine-influenced richness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit sweetness and soft oak spice.
