The Whistler Imperial Stout Finish is a triple distilled Irish whiskey in a 75cl bottle, distilled and bottled at Boann Distillery in County Meath. It is first matured in bourbon barrels, then finished in casks that previously held imperial stout from O'Hara's Brewery.
The nose is roasted coffee, dark chocolate, toasted oak and caramel sweetness. The palate has creamy malt, cocoa, vanilla, gentle spice and hints of dried fruit. The finish is long and warming, with roasted barley and soft oak.
