Boann Madeira Cask is a triple distilled single pot still Irish whiskey from Boann Distillery in County Meath. It is matured in selected casks and then finished in Madeira wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and released in limited quantities.
The nose offers honeyed orchard fruit, toasted oak, subtle spice and light floral sweetness. On the palate come ripe stone fruit, caramel and gentle baking spice, with a creamy texture and the richness of Madeira. The finish is long, warming and slightly sweet, with lingering fruit and soft oak.
