The Whistler Mosaic Marsala Cask is a single grain Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It is made from a mash of 95% corn and 5% malted barley.
The whiskey first matured in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in casks that previously held Sicilian Marsala wine. It comes from Boann Distillery, which is owned and run by the Cooney family.
The fruitiness of the Marsala finish shows in both the aroma and the taste, alongside the light character associated with Irish whiskey.
