The Whistler Imperial Stout Finish is a triple distilled, small batch Irish whiskey from Boann Distillery, finished in casks that previously held O'Hara's Imperial Stout. It is a collaboration between the distillery and O'Hara's Brewery, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The stout casks give a full-bodied style with dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malt.
The nose offers dark chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and coffee beans. The palate is creamy and full, with cocoa powder, caramel, dark honey and a slightly bitter stout note. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly dry, with a hint of dark chocolate.
