This is a 12 year old single malt from South Africa, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Master Distiller's Private Collection.
The whisky is distilled from peated barley and matured in American oak.
The nose combines peat smoke with sweet fruit. The palate opens sweet, with honey, then turns to peat and smoke before apple and apricot come through. The finish is smoky, with fruit and honey.
