Westland – Single Cask 6744 (70cl, 53.9%)

A single cask bottling of Westland single malt, cask number 6744, at 53.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Westland is a distillery in Seattle, Washington. The distillery was founded in January 2010 and makes every one of its single malts from 100% malted barley. The spirit is distilled to no more than 80% ABV, and only casks of up to 700 litres are used for maturation. Westland chose to make American single malt rather than bourbon, and it set up the American Single Malt Whiskey commission, which now has 110 distilleries as members.
