This is the sixth edition of Garryana, an American single malt from Westland in Seattle, Washington, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
Westland deliberately turned away from bourbon in favour of the American single malt category, and it helped set up the commission that oversees it. Its single malts are made from 100% malted barley, distilled only to 80% ABV and matured in casks of no more than 700 litres.
