Timorous Beastie Highland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (1L)

Timorous Beastie is a Highland blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled in small batches in a one-litre bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The blend brings together Highland malts including Glen Garioch, Dalmore and Glengoyne. The name comes from the shy field mouse of Robert Burns' poem 'To a Mouse'. It belongs to the Remarkable Regional Malts range. The nose is very sweet at first, then warm, floral and lightly malty, with spice and honey. The palate is spicy with raisin fruit and a sugary sweetness, and the finish is subtle and sweet, with oak, cereal and nuts.
