Tobermory – 10 Years (70cl, 46.3%)

Tobermory 10 Years is a single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an unpeated expression matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, with a slight peat influence coming from the water. The bottle's design nods to the historic Tobermory green glass. The colour is a bright lemony gold. The nose brings grass, malt, gingerbread, stewed fruit syrup and polished oak. On the palate, fruit, spiced gingerbread, acacia honey and aniseed make for a smooth, sweet character. The finish carries ginger, spicy oak, bitter chocolate and almond, fading with a touch of sea salt.
