A 23-year-old single malt from Tobermory, finished in Oloroso casks. It began as the distillery's 15-year-old release, and the whisky was left in its Oloroso casks for eight more years to reach this age. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
In the glass it is a deep rose gold. The nose offers vanilla, ripe oranges, toasted barley and rich fruitcake with a hint of cocoa. On the palate there is clear sherry influence, salted toffee, vanilla fudge and spicy oak, with candied citrus and floral honey. The finish is caramelised walnuts with a subtle salty edge.
