Togouchi Peated is a Japanese blended whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Its peaty character comes from maturation in bourbon casks that were previously used for Islay whisky, which is rare among Japanese blends.
On the palate it is soft and smoky, with honey and coconut. The finish is balanced, with caramelised sugar, smoked peat and lavender.
