Tomatin 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Tomatin has been making whisky since 1897, using soft water from the Alt-na-Frith burn.
The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving a fruity Highland style with added depth from the sherry.
The nose has wild heather, orchard fruits and a hint of toasted almonds. On the palate are fresh apple, creamy toffee, malt biscuits and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is smooth and medium in length, with soft oak and sweet barley.
