This is a 12-year-old Tomatin single malt, bottled at 43%. It is classically smooth in character, matured in three types of cask: ex-bourbon, ex-Spanish sherry and refill casks.
The nose opens with wild heather, pine and cedar, then sweetens into crème caramel with apples, pears and mango. The finish is full-bodied and buttery.
