A 12-year-old Tomatin single malt from the Highlands, in a 70cl bottle. It is soft and well balanced, and grows richer and fuller as it develops.
Honey and ripe fruit, apples and pears among them, mark the nose. Citrus fruit and roasted almonds come through on the palate, with a little wood, leading to a round, powerful finish that balances vegetal, fruity and gently spicy tones.
