Tomatin – 28 Years Old 1993 Single Cask #6810 125th Anniversary Oloroso Sherry Butt (70cl, 57.3%)

This is a Highland single malt from Tomatin, distilled in 1993 and aged 28 years in a single Oloroso sherry butt. Master Distiller Graham Eunson selected the cask to mark 125 years of Tomatin Distillery. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.3% in a 70cl bottle. On the nose there is coffee liqueur, flamed orange, caramel and black walnut bitters, followed by pipe tobacco and eucalyptus. The palate is richly sherried, with European oak spice, toffee and dark chocolate, then liquorice and a dry Assam tea note. The finish returns to raisin and chocolate.
