Tomatin – Legacy (70cl, 43%)

Tomatin Legacy is a single malt from the Tomatin distillery, bottled at 43% vol in a 70cl bottle. Tomatin was founded in 1897 and remains one of the few distilleries that still provide homes for their craftspeople. The whisky spends time in bourbon casks and virgin oak casks, which give a light sweetness with vanilla pod, white chocolate and cinnamon. The nose offers vanilla, a sweet edge, ripe southern fruits and citrus. The palate is soft and caramelly, with a fine spice, gentle waves of fresh fruit and ginger pepper, leading to a light, clean finish.
