Legacy is a Tomatin single malt from the Highlands, made from 100% malted barley. Fermentation runs for up to 168 hours, and the spirit is distilled twice in swan-neck stills.
Maturation takes place in first-fill bourbon casks (85%) and new American oak casks (15%). It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is rich with biscuit, vanilla, white chocolate, sandalwood, coconut and cinnamon. The palate has fresh fruit, vanilla, white pepper, ginger and orange peel. The finish is long, with gentle spices and vanilla.
