A 12 year old Speyside single malt from the Tomintoul distillery, in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. This is the Falcon Golden Barley Edition from the early 1990s, when the distillery still used the Glenlivet suffix in its name.
The packaging is unusual. The bottle is round, in fluted glass, and closes with a large silver screw top instead of the traditional bottleneck.
