This Tomintoul is a 13 year old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024 by Dràm Mòr at 56.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 218 bottles from a single cask.
Its maturation finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead, and the short time in that cask left the Tomintoul spirit intact. The nose is classic sherry with dried fruit and dark Demerara sugar, the palate is juicy, warming and gentle, and the finish shows darker charred oak, drier than the palate suggests.
