This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, distilled in 2008 and bottled at 46%. It matured first in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then was finished in White Port barriques selected in Portugal by Master Distiller Robert Fleming. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and is described as rich, sweet and fruity. The nose offers red berries, freshly baked bread and strawberry tarts with cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate come cooked fruits, bramble jam and shortbread, with panna cotta, ginger and toasted oak. The finish brings raspberry coulis, crème caramel and cocoa, with cedarwood and pink peppercorn.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
