A 25-year-old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. Master Distiller Robert Fleming selected the casks, and the whisky was matured in bourbon barrels. It was named Best Scotch Whisky at The Global Spirits Masters 2020.
The nose is bold and rich, with treacle toffee, oat biscuits, sultana, muscovado sugar and toasted oak. The palate is sweet and complex, with salted caramel, rolling tobacco, caramelised nuts, maple syrup, oaky spice and stone fruit. The finish is warming and long, with coffee cake, creme caramel and burnt sugar.
