A 27-year-old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, distilled in the late 1970s and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is no longer in production. The nose opens with fresh bread and butter, salad leaves and a dusty note of sacking and cigar ash, then mellows into rum-soaked dried fruit and toffee. The palate is fresh and doughy, with real butter, creamy softness, firm oak, orange peel and toffee sauce. The finish is dry and slightly oaky, with lemon marmalade and bittersweet peel.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
