Pedro Ximenez sherry
A 50 year old Tomintoul distilled in 1973 and matured in a single Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. Master Distiller Robert Fleming hand-selected it to mark his fifty years in the Scotch whisky industry. The cask yielded 253 decanters, bottled at 40.2% ABV at natural cask strength and natural in colour. The nose is maple syrup, sticky toffee pudding, spiced fruits and banana bread. The palate is silky, sweet and warming, with chocolate ganache, Black Forest gateau, manuka honey, dried figs and gingerbread. The finish is long, with fruit cake, cappuccino, black cherry and candied pecans.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
