This is a 9 year old Tomintoul, a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company for their Infrequent Flyers series. It was distilled in 2014 and matured in a single American rye barrel. Bottled in February 2024 at a cask strength of 58.8% ABV, it produced 250 bottles. The rye cask gives a twist to Tomintoul's traditionally gentle style. Sweet malt, warming spice and lively oak are the characteristics described.
