Tomintoul Caribbean Rum Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. After maturing in traditional oak casks, the whisky is finished in casks that held Caribbean rum.
The nose is sweet and fresh, with pineapple, ripe banana, vanilla and brown sugar over a soft background of oak. On the palate come tropical fruit, honey, caramel and a little spice, with the rum finish adding warmth. The finish is medium and sweet, with vanilla, coconut and lightly spiced notes.
