This is a small batch Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, part of the distillery's Finish range. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then married and finished in Madeira wine barrels sourced from Portugal's Madeira islands. The tasting notes describe summer berries, spiced fruits and ginger biscuits on the nose, with chocolate orange and baking spices. The palate has juicy cantaloupe melon, brambles and candied peels alongside chocolate mousse, syrup flapjacks and toasted oak. The finish brings cake spices and cacao, with ripe banana, vanilla panna cotta and marmalade.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
