Tomintoul Tempranillo Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt finished in casks that previously held Tempranillo wine. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The finish adds fruity and spicy notes and a vinous influence to the soft Speyside style of the distillery.
The nose has ripe red berries, cherries, raspberries and plums, with vanilla, honey and spiced oak. The palate is soft and silky, with red fruit, caramel, raisins and milk chocolate. The finish runs medium to long, with woodland berries, sweet spice and toasted oak.
