A Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle as a small batch. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, then married and finished in Tempranillo wine barrels from Spain.
The nose brings strawberry jam, cinder toffee, syrup sponge cake and cooked fruits, with vanilla and chamomile. The palate has mixed berry compote, brandy snap biscuits and custard pastries alongside white pepper, toasted oak and cappuccino. The finish is dark chocolate, raspberry and stem ginger, fading into espresso and roast chestnut.
