Tomintoul – Tundra Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2022) (1L, 40%)

Tomintoul Tundra is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a one litre bottle. It takes its name and inspiration from the Cairngorms National Park, one of the few places outside the Arctic where areas of tundra exist. The whisky is matured entirely in American oak bourbon barrels and is described as elegant, balanced and creamy. On the nose there are toasted oak and poached pears, with marzipan and white chocolate over the top. The palate is nutty and creamy, with vanilla fudge, stone fruits and crème anglaise. The finish is warming and long, with orchard fruits and sweet spices.
