Torabhaig – 2017 Allt Gleann (46%)

Allt Gleann is the second release from Torabhaig, the newer distillery on the Isle of Skye. This single malt is bottled at 46% and carries the 2017 date in its name. The nose is maritime, with light fruit, smoke and a faint hint of tobacco. On the palate it is spicy and oily, with salty coastal notes sitting comfortably alongside fresh fruit before the malt turns drier towards the back. The finish is long and smoky, with a pleasant malty sweetness.
