Torabhaig – Allt Gleann Batch 2 (46%)

Allt Gleann is the second release from Torabhaig, the second licensed single malt distillery on the Isle of Skye. It follows the Inaugural Release in the Legacy Series, and further Legacy releases are planned. This is Batch 2, bottled at 46% ABV as a limited edition from only a small number of casks. It is made from heavily peated barley, yet is described as elegant and refined as well as robust. It is smokier and more powerful than the Inaugural Release. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The palate is notably smoky.
