Taigh is a Torabhaig single malt bottled by the distillery itself at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon and Madeira casks. Torabhaig is on the Isle of Skye and was the island's first new single malt distillery in 190 years, following Talisker. Mossburn Distillers built it from the ruin of an old farmhouse, using stones from the nearby ruin of Camus castle. Spirit first ran in 2017, and the first single malt was released in 2021.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
