Allt Gleann is a peated single malt from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 46% ABV as part of The Legacy Series. It is only the second release from the distillery.
The spirit was distilled in 2017 and 2018 and matured in first-fill and refill bourbon barrels. The nose combines cornhusks, hay and sea spray with woody tobacco, vanilla shortbread and coal smoke. On the palate it is light-bodied and spicy, with matcha, charred apples and pears and a faint medicinal note. The finish is medium in length, lightly bitter and mineral.
