Torabhaig – Allt Gleann Batch Strength The Legacy Series (70cl, 61.1%)

Allt Gleann is the second release in the Legacy Series from Torabhaig, the distillery on the Isle of Skye. This batch strength version is bottled at 61.1% ABV, without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The series is made in small batches drawn from no more than thirty casks, and the malt is peated to 77 ppm. On the nose it brings fresh sea air with strong peat smoke. The palate is robust and maritime, with sea salt, seaweed and a good deal of peat, followed by a very long, smoky finish.
