Torabhaig – Allt Gleann Single Malt

Torabhaig Allt Gleann is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, from the second distillery ever built on the island. The distillery calls its house style Well-Tempered Peat. The nose brings delicate coal smoke and petrichor, leaf mulch, dried limes, pomegranate juice and sea air, with pear drop and white grape juice beneath. The palate is very light in body, with barbecue-charred apples and pears, smoked orange segments, a little green olive and a touch of celery and chive. The finish is medium in length, as the smoke fades to a delicate medicinal aftertaste.
