Allt Gleann is the second release in the Torabhaig Legacy Series and the second single malt from the Torabhaig distillery on the Isle of Skye. It combines small batches distilled in 2017 and 2018, and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Roasty, smoky peat and a strong maritime character run through it. The nose has woody tobacco, crumbly vanilla shortbread, earthy peat smoke, lemon zest and smoked shellfish. The palate brings old peat, coastal tar, roasted salted nuts, light fruit salad, heather, fennel and a touch of medicinal pepper. The finish carries peat smoke, apple and kiwi, vanilla oak and a briny harbourside note.
