Torabhaig Legacy Allt Gleann Batch Strength is a single malt from the distillery on the Isle of Skye. It was made to close the Allt Gleann chapter of the Legacy series and is bottled undiluted at 61.1% ABV, without chill-filtering or colouring.
The malted barley is heavily peated, at more than 78 PPM, and the whisky matured in Bourbon casks and refill whisky casks. The residual phenol level is 22.8 PPM.
The nose brings smoke, peat and sweet vanilla leading to oak spice. The palate adds salt, malt, pepper, green apple and a touch of cedar, and the finish carries more oak spice with a hint of fire.
