Cnoc na Moine is the third and final release in the Legacy Series from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye. It is a heavily peated single malt, made with concerto malted barley that has a grain phenol content of 78.4 PPM and fermented with pinnacle and anchor yeasts.
The spirit was aged in a mix of American oak oloroso, pedro ximenez and ex-bourbon casks. It was bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with a residual phenol level of 19.7 PPM.
It is described as a robustly peated spirit with a refined character, complex and maritime.
