Torabhaig Sound of Sleat (70cl, 46%)

Torabhaig Sound of Sleat is a peated single malt from the Legacy Series, named after the strait that separates the Isle of Skye from the Scottish mainland. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky is matured in first-fill and refill bourbon casks and shows the distillery's style of what it calls well-tempered peat. The nose is gentle maritime peat smoke with citrus zest, pear and sweet malt. On the palate are lemon oil, malted barley, light honey and coastal salt, with an oily texture. The finish is long and lightly smoky, with citrus, warm spice and peat embers.
