Torabhaig – Sound of Sleat Batch Strength 2025 The Legacy Series (70cl, 60.2%)

Sound of Sleat is the fourth chapter of the Torabhaig Legacy Series from the distillery on the Isle of Skye, here at a batch strength of 60.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is named after the narrow stretch of sea beside the distillery and the Sleat peninsula on which it stands. The whisky matures entirely in American oak, from new and ex-bourbon casks, and is made in small batches of no more than thirty casks. The label carries artwork by the local artist Ellis O'Connor. On the nose there is smoke, brine and orange barley sugar, with tobacco, peaty ash, apricot and seaweed. The palate brings spicy oak, embers and vanilla, and the finish is long and peppery with coastal notes.
