Torabhaig Sound of Sleat Batch Strength is a limited-edition single malt from the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle at 60.2% ABV. It is named after the strait between Skye and the Scottish mainland, and is a stronger take on the original Sound of Sleat.
The whisky was matured in first-fill and refill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers maritime peat smoke with citrus peel, green apple and warm barley. On the palate are earthy peat smoke, salted caramel, grilled lemon and peppered oak, with an oily texture. The finish is long and smoky, with citrus oil, seawater salinity and charred oak.
