Torabhaig – Sound of Sleat Batch Strength (70cl, 60.2%)

Torabhaig Sound of Sleat Batch Strength is the fourth chapter in the distillery's Legacy Series, reworked at a bottling strength of 60.2%. It is a single malt from Skye, named after the narrow strip of sea behind the distillery. The malt is peated to over 78PPM, with 19PPM of phenols in the glass. It was made from Concerto and Laureate barley, fermented for 72 hours, and matured entirely in American oak: first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon and freshly toasted virgin oak barrels. Coastal smoke, toasted oak, spice, salted honey and charred stone fruit lead to a long, lip-tingling finish.
