Taigh is a Torabhaig whisky from Scotland's islands, matured in a combination of bourbon and Madeira casks.
The nose offers sea breeze and smoke, balanced by earthy woodland notes, with baked apple pie, maple syrup, raisins, cloves, cinnamon and a hint of cereal biscuit. The palate is light to medium in weight, with soft, elegant smoke wrapped in vanilla cream, toasted almonds and sweet dried fruit, on a smooth, slightly oily texture.
