Torabhaig – 'Taigh'

Taigh is the first core expression from Torabhaig, a gently peated single malt that the distillery presents as the clearest statement of its 'Smoke with Taste' house style. It is matured in a combination of first fill Bourbon barrels, refill Bourbon casks and select Madeira casks. First fill Bourbon brings out vanilla, sweet spice and honey alongside the light coastal smoke. The refill casks let the distillery character come through, and the Madeira adds a rounded fruit sweetness and warmth.
