Torabhaig – The Distillers' Series Iona's First Edition (70cl)

This limited-edition single malt celebrates Iona MacPhie, the whisky maker at Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye. It belongs to the Distillers' Series, and Iona painted the bottle artwork herself. It is the distillery's first whisky made from unpeated Concerto barley with 10% chocolate malt. It was matured in sherry butts and bourbon casks and bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouring. The colour is deep golden amber. The nose offers dark chocolate, roasted coffee, sweet raisins and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied, with cocoa, espresso, dried fruit and gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warming.
