Allt Gleann is the second of four releases in Torabhaig's Legacy Series, from the Isle of Skye distillery. It is a peated single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour or chill-filtration.
The barley was peated to 77 ppm, well above the 55 ppm of the first release in the series. The spirit matured in first-fill bourbon casks and refill whisky casks.
The nose shows clear smoke with a slightly medicinal edge, fruity sweetness and malt. The palate is smoky with light spice, followed by fresh pears and apples. The finish is long and smoky.
