This is a 10-year-old single malt from Tormore in Speyside, released as a small batch in the distillery's Blueprint Cask Program. It matured in specially toasted barrels, and 1,500 bottles were filled.
It is bottled at 48% ABV, unfiltered and without added colouring.
The nose brings roasted nuts, vanilla pod and malt sweets with a faint touch of wood smoke. The palate is creamy, with vanilla custard and rich toffee, caramelised grain and almond brittle, balanced by baking spices. The medium-length finish carries hazelnut and a hint of beeswax.
