Tormore – 12 Year Old Bourbon, Cream Sherry & Toasted White American Oak Casks (46%)

This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Tormore, whose distillery stands at Advie on the River Spey. It was matured in a selection of bourbon casks, cream sherry casks and toasted white American oak casks, and bottled at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose offers ripe peaches and poached pears with vanilla custard. The palate is silky, with vanilla fudge and light oak spice, and the finish is nutty, with toasted almonds and coconut.
